If you’ve ever tried to redeem your Qantas Points for flights, you probably know that comparing the different ways you can redeem your points hasn’t always been the easiest process. Please note that this is very different to the existing “Where Could I Go?” tool, which is essentially a list of locations you can travel to depending on where you’re departing from. You can access the Where Can I Go map through the Qantas website (which you can use on your desktop, smartphone or tablet) and it will also be integrated into the Qantas App later this year. “The new ‘Where Can I Go?’ interactive map gives our customers access to information and inspiration when planning their next trip – whether it’s for business or a family holiday,” said a spokesperson from Qantas. Some of your options include a return trip to Perth in business class or to Shanghai in economy. For example, if you have 70,000 Qantas Points, you can use your points to travel to 61 destinations from Sydney. ![]() This makes it a lot easier to compare the different ways that you can redeem your hard-earned points for domestic and international trips. Previously, you either had to use the points calculator or trawl through the list of hundreds of points destinations on the Qantas website. You can also filter your search based on your budget, points balance, cabin preference, length of trip and travel dates. Available from today, Qantas Frequent Flyers can use the map to search and explore the travel destinations that they can reach using Classic Flight Rewards, Points Plus Pay or cash. Qantas is determined to spark the wanderlust of frequent flyers everywhere with the introduction of the new “Where Can I Go?” interactive map. National Recreation Areas are shown in yellow and include, Lake Mead, and Glen Canyon.Booking flights with your Qantas Points just got easier. National monuments are shown in orange and include, Wupatki, Sunset Crater, Walnut Canyon, Tuzigoot, Montezuma Castle, Canyon De Chelly, Navajo, Grand Canyon Parashant, Vermilion Cliffs, Grand Staircase Escalante, Pipe Springs, Rainbow Bridge, Cedar Breaks, Natural Bridges, Hovenweep, Canyon of the Ancients, and Colorado. National parks are shown in vermilion, and include, Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Arches. National forest lands are shown in green, and include, Coconino, Prescott, Sitgreaves, Kaibab, Dixie, Fishlake, and Manti-La Sal. Tribal lands are show in purple and reservation boundaries are shown for the following tribes: Navajo, Hopi, Hualapai, Havasupai, Kaibab Paiute, Shivwits Paiute, Zuni, and Ute Mountain.
